The Crafter Mino Series BIG MINO ALK electro-acoustic guitar features the deluxe construction of a solid koa soundboard and koa body, an open and slotted headstock and a forearm contour along the top of the lower bout to provide snug playing comfort.
Finished with excellent details like the butterfly inlay at the 12th fret, a delicate wood-inlaid soundhole rosette, and a pre-installed set of .012 gauge D’Addario strings, this model offers masterful quality for an intermediate price.
Two-Part Preamp System
To ensure natural and accurate stage-sound, the Crafter BIG MINO ALK has been fitted with a smart two-part preamp system where a piezo pickup has been discreetly installed beneath the saddle to register string vibration and a microphone has been mounted just inside the soundhole to capture the resonance of the body. The preamp controls provides a blend pot for balancing both signals, a volume pot for setting the total output level, and by pushing in the Clarity button, the mid-frequencies are dampened to push the higher and lower frequencies into the foreground and leave a full and broad sound with enough body to support strummed playing styles.
There's even a tuner in the soundhole for convenient tuning at any time.
The neck plays great and this guitar is really compensated in terms of string to string volume.
