The Paramount PD-220E combines cutting-edge craftsmanship with vintage-inspired details, offering the best of both worlds. Constructed with a solid spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides, the PD-220E features an X-offset internal truss bracing pattern that has been carefully refined to optimize resonance and tone A newly designed Sonitone Plus pickup by Fender and Fishman amplifies the full, balanced tone of the PD-220E's Dreadnought body shape, while the soundhole-mounted controls retain the vintage aesthetic. Under the soundboard, a sensitive pickup enhances the soundboard vibrations that can be combined with the Sonicore pickup under the bridge. Updated cosmetic details include snowflake pearl inlays on the fingerboard, feather purfling, rosettes and backstrips, and a Black or Tiger Stripe pickguard. The PD-220E also features an ovangkol bridge and fingerboard, slim mahogany neck, bone nut and saddle, and comes with a hard case. CHARACTERISTICS

Inspired by early vintage guitars, this rosette and purfling pay homage to classic acoustic designs of the 1930s and 1940s.
