Sadowsky SPB-2 Outboard Preamp

The legendary Sadowsky SBP-2 Outboard Bass Preamp/DI Pedal contains the same circuitry that you will find in any Sadowsky bass.

The circuit is housed in a very compact, resistant metal box. Simply plug in your bass and route the signal to your amplifier.

The controls are Volume, Bass and Treble. The EQ is just for enhancement. There is a switch to activate the preamp and an LED to indicate that the battery is low (if not using a power supply).

This is an ideal preamp for vintage basses where you need to improve the sound but don't want to do any work on them. It works perfectly with both passive and active basses where the included electronics can be bypassed. It also works really well with double bass pickups.
