ALESIS DM LITE KIT Complete Digital Student Drum Kit

The Alesis DM Lite Kit offers an easily transportable alternative for both the amateur and the more advanced non-professional drummer. All pads and cymbals are mounted on a pre-assembled, height-adjustable, four-legged rack that is ready to use almost immediately. In addition to 200 excellent sounds, the DM Lite module also incorporates a percussion tutor, which offers patterns to accompany and exercises to improve playing technique.

It can be easily connected to any amplifier or sound system through its ¼ jack outputs; it also has a headphone output through a 1/8″ connector. In addition, it also incorporates an auxiliary input through a 1/8 jack that will allow you to play along with songs played by an external audio source. It can also be connected directly to a computer via USB, allowing its integration with the most popular recording software and virtual instruments.

The DM Lite Kit comes with a pre-assembled 4-leg rack, with all the toms and cymbals already in place. Simply unfold the rack arms, position the cymbals and toms as you wish, and use the quick-release clamps to adjust the height of the kit to suit your height and playing style – no tools required. The wiring harness interconnects all pads, cymbals and pedals to the DM Lite module, quickly and easily, with a single connection.

The DM Lite module includes 200 high-quality drum and percussion sounds, organised into 10 pre-configured, ready-to-use kits, created to suit multiple musical genres.

The module also incorporates valuable additional possibilities. The built-in tutor function offers 30 backing tracks and a metronome track. There is also an auxiliary input via 1/8″ stereo jack, allowing you to play along with external audio software (computer, mobile device, audio player, etc.). It also features a USB MIDI connection that allows you to connect it to all kinds of recording software and virtual instruments. Finally, a headphone jack allows for private rehearsals, and stereo outputs via ¼” jacks allow you to connect it to any amplifier, PA system or recording interface.

WHAT COMES IN THE BOX

The kit includes four pads (one snare and three toms) and three cymbal pads (hi-hat, crash and ride). Each time a pad or cymbal is struck, the internal blue LEDs on each of them light up, adding an interesting visual effect to the performance. In addition, the pads also light up in response to the internal patterns, providing a visual guide in each practice session.

Two control pedals complete the kit. The first is a momentary open/close control pedal. The second is a velocity-sensitive, piezo-controlled kick pedal. Unlike simple on/off pedals, this dynamic pedal translates the force with which you hit it into volume, resulting in a much more realistic performance.
